[1] How do I enter my profile into the database? In order to enter your profile into the database, you must either be a past or a current student of the Department. If you are, then go to the New User Sign Up page to register your unique username and enter your profile into the Alumni Database. [2] I am a current student of the department. Can I enter my profile? Yes, you sure can. Both current students and past students (alumni) are allowed to enter their profiles. In fact, we would recommend that you enter your profile now and keep updating it as you proceed further with your studies. [3] I have forgotten my username, what do I do? If you have forgotten your username, then use the Alumni Database Search feature to search for your username. Enter a part of or your full Last Name or First Name in the Search String box and make sure that you select the right Search Field (For eg., if you want to search for your username and your Last Name is Kumar, then select the 'Last Name' Search Field and enter 'Kumar' into the Search String box. Then press the 'Search Database' button) [4] How can I modify/update my profile? Use the Update User Profile feature. You will need your username and password for this. [5] I have forgotten my password, what do I do? If you have forgotten your
password, you can use the Retrieve
Password feature to retrieve your lost password. There are two options
available to you: [6] I have forgotten the answer to my 'Forgot Password Question'. How do I retrieve my lost password? Use the second option - 'Have the password sent my Email ID' in the Retrieve Password feature. [7] I did not get the email with the password? What should I do? Please send an email to alumni@jntucekcs.org mentioning your username, lastname and firstname. Your password will be sent to the Email ID you provided at the time of registration (This is the Email ID displayed in your Profile) [8] I am in the M.C.A. Alumni. But my profile is being displayed in the B.Tech. Listing. How do I change this? Please login into your account using the Update User Profile feature and check if your 'Category' entry has been entered correctly or not. [9] I am of the 1994-1997 Batch. But my profile is being displayed in the listing of some other year. What do I do? Please login into your account using the Update User Profile feature and check if your 'YearOfAdmission' entry has been entered correctly or not. The Alumni Listing is generated according to the value of your 'YearOfAdmission' entry. If this entry is incorrect, then your name may show up in the Alumni Listing of some other year. [10] Can I add more than one email address in my profile? Yes, you sure can. But please make sure that they are correctly entered and seperated by commas. [11] My Question has not been answered here.
