  • As visiting faculty in North Dakota State University, Fargo, USA for one month and George Mason University, USA for 25 days on collaborative research work in Computer Networks and label switching protocols.
  • A visiting Trainee at Centre of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC), Japan between September December 2001 on Multimedia Tools for Instructional Design.
  • Member of Professional bodies, viz., CSI and ISTE.

RESEARCH WORK (1996-04):

[1]Title: A STUDY OF ISSUES IN MULTICONNECTED DISTRIBUTED LOOP INTERCONNECTION NETWORKS
An Interconnection Network, Called Multiconnected Distributed Loop (MCDL) is proposed that suits in the multiprocessor tightly coupling and LAN based loose coupling environments. In MCDL multiprotocol LAN architecture, worm hole routed direct network architecture, deadlock free message passing with virtual channels, fault tolerant routing, graph theoretic properties and some open problems/issues are presented.

[2] Two journals, four National and four International Conference papers were presented.

[3] The thesis was accepted in totality by the Indian and foreign examiners which is a signal of the quality of my research work.

[4] Awarded the best research paper in National Systems Conference (NSC 97), on Integrated Systems with Multiple Technologies by Research Center Imarat (RCI) of DRDO, Hyderabad.
