I am pleased to recommend (Student Name), whom I have taught for the past three years. I have taught him “Programming Languages”, “Design and Analysis of Algorithms”, “Artificial Intelligence” and “Software Engineering”. I also supervised his Programming Languages and Software Engineering lab work. I have had a chance to assess his potential.



	I found him a bright and sincere student with a strong desire to pursue a prospective career in the field of Computer Science. He has very good research ability. He presented a Technical Paper titled “WAP Site Simulation” at National Level Technical Symposium Infovision 2001, where he was awarded the first prize. He was also awarded first prize in Web Designing Competition. These prove his reasoning and analytical ability, creativity, innovativeness, originality, good writing and ability to express his views to others.



	Under my guidance, he has done a project titled “Student Registration Program” in Visual Basic with MS-Access as backend. He did the project extremely well and made it a complete software package – visually attractive, well designed, functional and well documented with a comprehensive user manual and help system. I must say that I was satisfied and really impressed by his performance and creativity.



(Student Name) is well versed in programming languages like C, C++, Visual Basic and Visual C++. He can work efficiently on DOS, Windows and UNIX platforms. He also has a flair for Web Designing and has designed his personal website (WEBSITE-URL). Incidentally, the website is also home to his personal mini-project, an online Perl script based CGI Mailing Program called ‘EasyMAILer’. He is also an IEEE Student Member.



Other than academics, he is also interested in other extra curricular activities like singing, debating and essay writing. He is hard working, enthusiastic, observant and highly determined in fulfilling his goals. He also has a very pleasing attitude.



In general, I rate him among the top 2 % of the students whom I have taught in the last three years. And I strongly recommend him for admission in the MS Program at your esteemed University with full financial aid.
